New Jersey Census Information

New Jersey Federal census records include: 1790, 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1890, 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 and 1940.

Most of the 1800, 1810 and 1820 New Jersey census records were lost.

1890 Federal New Jersey Census Records burned in a 1921 warehouse fire, except remnants of schedules for Jersey City in Hudson County.

The New Jersey 1890 Veterans and Widows schedules did survive the fire.
