Vermont Census Information

The 1790 Federal Vermont Census wasn't taken until 1791 when Vermont became a state.

Vermont Federal Census Records include: 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 and 1940.

1890 Federal Vermont census records were completely destroyed by a 1921 warehouse fire, but the 1890 Vermont Veterans and Widows Census did survive.

Vermont Mortality Schedules include: 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880.
